The second goal, was scored with 10 seconds left to go in the second by Jennie Setaro who managed to sneak it in past the mass of humanity in front of Team Blue's Sue Eichler. However, that would be all the goals that Team Orange would score as Team Blue came back with three unanswered goals. The first by Kirsten Domingo; the second was scored by Renee Beaudry that just managed to find a way through Carmen's brand new pads; and the third goal was scored by Domingo, who was assisted by Aubriana Fumagali.

Game 14: August 21, 2006 -- Team Blue vs. Team Orange

In a close game, Team Blue led the scoring on a goal by Kelley Madigan with an assist form Joanne Lacomb. Team Orange's Katie Howard tied the game with 46 seconds left in the first.  At the end of the first, Lacomb was called for tripping Jessica Pac. While Pac got off an amazing shot, Sue Eichler got enough of it with her pads to deny Pac her first career goal. Just when it looked like there would be no scoring in the second, Lacomb found the back of the net with just 36 seconds left in the period. Referee Mac Walters called Howard on a roughing penalty setting up a penalty shot for Aubriana Fumagali, who managed to find the back of the net. Team Orange's Lee-Ann Carmen answered back with a goal, but Team Blue held on for the win.

Game 15: August 28, 2006 -- Team Yellow/Blue vs. Team Orange in an NHL Style Game

In this game, there were 3-20 minute periods, or enough hockey to make ANY woman happy! The scoring started off strong in the first period with a combined 9 goals scored. Aubriana Fumagali had a hat trick in the first period, while Stephanie Walsh set up 2 goals for Team Orange right off the face-off -- one by Kathy Raczyk, the other by Molly Walters. This would be Walters first career ice hockey goal in her first EVER ice hockey game!

In the second period there were 8 goals scored between the two teams. The highlight of the second period was a BEAUTIFUL goal scored by Jessica Pac. Ariel Arnold saw Pac wide open in front of the net and made a terrific pass to get Pac the puck. This would be Pac's first career goal. Pac had never played hockey prior to this season, so needless to say, we were all very excited for her! Congratulations Jess!!

With everyone used to playing much shorter periods, it showed in the third. There were only 2 goals scored: One by Team Orange's Arnold; The other by Team Yellow's Kirsten Domingo. This was a great game to finish off a fun season of hockey. Thanks to all the players who made this season possible!
